The audition process will begin promptly at 11:00 a.m. and will end at 3:00 p.m.  Applicants who register by either phone or e-mail will be given priority.  Otherwise, auditions will be conducted on a first come, first serve basis.  We cannot guarantee that we will see past the first 100 applicants - so please try and get there early and be prepared to stay for a while.  We suggest that small children are left at home as the process may be lengthy.  We also suggest, if possible,  that you download the Contestant Application, as this will save some time when it is your turn.  Applicants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  Food and drinks will not be permitted in the space, so please eat before you come. 

 

Each applicant will be screened in 2 areas: interview and talent.  40 Contestants will be chosen from the pool of applicants. 

 

1. Applicants for the Little Miss New York USA pageant must be between  

    the ages of 8 and 12 - NOT TO HAVE REACHED HER 13TH BIRTHDAY ON

 

     (If selected, proof of age will be required)

 

3. Applicant must reside in 1 of the 5 boroughs of New York City 

    (If selected, proof of residency will be required)

 

4. Applicant must be in good academic standing

    (If selected, most recent report card will be required)

 

1. Applicant must fill out a Contestant Application (which can be downloaded

    from this site).  Forms will be available at the audition also.

   

2. Applicant must bring 1 photo to the audition - any size is fine; however,

    photos will not be returned unless you include a self addressed envelope

    and request it be returned.

 

3. There is a non-refundable $25 application fee required at the time of

    audition.  We will only accept cash or money order (made payable to

    Hidden Agenda).

 

4. If selected to be a contestant, there will be a $250 enrollment fee.

 

Talent must be performed by all applicants auditioning.  It must be no  longer than 2 minutes.  Talent should be well rehearsed.  If dancing, please bring a CD.  If singing, please bring instrumental CD (like a karaoke CD) or be prepared to sing acapella.

 

Interviews will be conducted by members of our staff at the audition. 

This will give us an opportunity to meet the applicant and get to know a little about her.  It will ultimately give us a feel as to whether we think she would make a good contestant.
